We just got a letter from John, postmarked April 4. He wrote as he was en-route to Kuwait. He wrote the letter from Germany where his aircraft made a refuel stop. He sends regards and love to his family and tell all his friends he says hello.
He sounded a little nervous, but I think that's to be expected. At that time, he was not quite sure what job he would be doing. Somewhere, a laptop was waiting for him, but he didn't know that.
Keep a watch on your mail, you never know.
