Greetings: Just a short note and a "Big Thank You" for those that participated in our October 28th meeting, held at the Fr. Thomas A. Judge KofC hall.
The hall was packed with nearly 50-60 members/relatives/friends of our deployed family members. This was a terrific showing.
Many new members attended and our friends at the KofC Hall were gracious and made our meeting a huge success.
Our guest speaker, LTC Vincent Montera, was informative and provided his "first hand"
knowledge of the Iraq theater of operations. Many thanks to Colonel Montera. Tough task; Well Done.
We collected many Emails and pics of our loved ones. If you missed our meeting, please send pics to either me or Mike Bardunias. Mike will post pics on our website. The editor of the Northport Observer also attended and will write up the highlights of the meeting and publish in his newspaper. He was very, very impressed with the dedication of our family members.
As I promised, we will continue to support our family members in any way possible.
For those who attended, give us feedback on the meeting and for all of our members, please send me your suggestions for topics for future meetings.
We are in the planning stage for our next meeting. I will assemble our team and determine when and where. Remember, we need your feedback and suggestions.
Thank you again for your support and let us not forget our brave family members that are fighting for us in distant shore.
Neil Halloran, Pat Grecco, Mike Bardunias
