Ralph Dengler, of Sparta, N.J., and Maj. Thomas O'Connor of New York City, talk at the burned out Nasiriyah courthouse, where they are working to get the justice system working again.
Major Ralph Dengler is with the Marine Corps Reserve Unit out of Garden City. He is an US Naval Academy graduate, served 5 years, went to Dessert storm, came home and went to Fordham Law. Since 9/11, this unit was deployed until 12/02, then recalled for Iraq-Freedom. His wife Kelly is a graduate of Fordham University. They live in Sparta, NJ at present and Ralph is an attorney with a NYC firm.
